Rachel Menard earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from ASU, during which time her writing was featured in the university paper and her own, self-published music zine, Chelsea. Later, she studied Web Design and Development at RISD. She currently works for a seasonal design company, designing and marketing Christmas ornaments. Her creative short fiction has been featured in the New England Speculative Writers’ Anthology, The Final Summons, and on Cast of Wonders. Most recently, her self-published young adult novel, Steel Hand, Cold Heart won the Grand Prize in the Writers’ Digest Self-Published E-Book awards.
